pilight Nano USB interface
(02-05-2017, 12:16 PM)curlymo Wrote: I'm of course not going to make losses. I sell nano's that have proven to work with a lot of pilight users. So not the ones with the CH20, but the ones with the right RS232 chip.
Sure, otherwise this would not make sense. Where does this influence the functioning when the arduino is not used in pilight? I was not able to find anything when googling "CH20 RS232".

I meant the CH340 chip. This requires additional drivers on windows and i think also on linux. The RS232 works OOTB.

That was the right hint. I googled it and indeed there is a driver problem with this chip. It can be repaired (see this link) and now everything works fine. So no need to use the other Windows PC, thanks.

You said you bought if from the pilight shop. Did i sent you one with a CH340?

I have no idea: Blue arduino and it says mega328 and FTDI (difficult to read). It is definitively from the shop, arrived Friday.

Ok. Just wanted to make sure.

Hi, I've successfully setup my pilight USB Nano Setup (I used the GPIO version before on my Raspberry Pi).

Unfortunately I need to send raw codes to control my Elro Flamingo Switches and I now have the following message in pilight.log:

ERROR: too many distinct pulses for pilight usb nano to send

I'm trying to send something like:
pilight-send -p raw --code="330 4940 330 1000 320 1010 970 360 320 1010 310 1010 970 370 320 1010 970 360 320 1010 970 370 960 370 960 360 320 1010 970 380 310 1020 300 1020 960 370 960 380 310 1020 960 370 310 1010 970 380 300 1030 950 380 300 1020 960 380 950 370 310 1020"

The same command did work perfect before with my GPIO setup.

Any advise or is this protocol implemented in pilight in the meantime? Thanks a lot Smile
Tim

You should normalize the values first. Between 300 and 400 become 350, between 900 and 1100 becomes 1000. That should do.

330 4940 330 1000 330 1010 970 330 330 1010 330 1010 970 330 330 1010 970 330 330 1010 970 330 960 330 960 360 330 1010 970 380 330 1020 330 1020 960 330 960 330 330 1020 960 370 310 1010 970 380 300 1030 950 380 300 1020 960 380 950 370 310 1020

I got problems with the arduino again (wasn't able to flash it with pilight) and so I put it into a windows machine. But I do not recognize the device, see the attached screenshot. Shouldn't the arduino show up there?

Can you post a photo from the serial chip?
