how to complete remove nightly
#1
Hi.

I have some troubles with the self-compiled nightly and want to complete remove it before new installation.

pilight is running on an i7 System with Ubuntu 14.4.2

Can anyone tell me how i can remove it?
Terrarium:  RPi Model B Rev 2 / pilight 8.1.2 / stretch
Aquarium: RPi Model B Plus Rev 1.2 / pilight 8.0.6 / jessie

Raspberry pi 2:

make: *** No rule to make target 'uninstall'. Stop.

I uninstalled it manually because with "sudo make uninstall and sudo ./setup.sh uninstall" don't works.

Did you manually compile the nightly? In that case you are probably in the wrong directory Smile

If you used apt-get install to get the nightly version, you need to run "sudo apt-get remove pilight" to uninstall pilight.

I don't know if it's nightly. I have cloned it from github. (The version 7.0, master branch)

And i have installed it with sudo ./setup.sh

The github master branch is the latest stable version, but you should still be able to uninstall it with "sudo make uninstall". Make sure you are in the base directory of your clone (where you also have the ".git" folder).

Of course. I'm in the main directory.

Hmm, at the moment it looks like a fresh clone, did you actually run the setup.sh script or "cmake . && make" to compile install pilight from this clone? Or did you run "cmake clean"?

I'm running only the setup.sh
It's updated to last month.
Don't worry. I appreciate your interest in help me but it isn't a issue for me.

I'm testing new algorithm (because pilight algorithms aren't compatible with my motion sensor)

I'm using CS1527GO chipset (compatible with CS2262). This is for another thread.
