I'm posting in this thread in the hope that some Home Easy users might be able to help but I did notice a search brings up nothing for the HE105.

I have a couple of HE105's and a HE100 'Ultimate' remote control.

After some tinkering I am now able to use pilight to turn the HE105's on and 'off' by sending a RAW signal. I have ordered the filter and kit as I currently just have 3 or 4 of the cheap units.

Receive gave me things like this:

Code:
hardware:       433gpio
pulse:          3
rawlen:         26
binlen:         6
plslen:         711

on-off bit(s):  1 3
all bit(s):
unit bit(s):

Raw code:
711 1422 1422 711 1422 1422 711 711 1422 711 1422 2133 711 711 1422 1422 1422 2133 0 2133 711 1422 711 2133 711 24174

Raw simplified:
On:     01101101111101011101

Off:    01101011101101111101011101
All:    00101010101100111101001101
abcd e: 0010101010110010110100110
Unit 1: 01101010101100101101011101
abcd e: 0010101010110010110100110

Unit 2: 00101011101100110101010101
abcd e: 0010101010110010110100110
Unit 3: 00101100101100111101010101
abcd e: 0010101010110010110100110
Binary code:
On:     011111
Off:    001011
All:    001111
Unit 1: 001011
Unit 2: 011111
Unit 3: 001111

When I was using the learn facility the receiver failed to register the OFF signal at all so I had to send ON to get any response.

After a certain amount of trial and error I now have a reliable ON with:

sudo pilight-send -p raw --code="710 710 1420 710 1420 710 1420 710 1420 710 1420 1420 710 710 1420 710 1420 1420 710 1420 710 710 1420 1420 710 24140"

OFF was more difficult and as indicated by the zero in the receive signal above I had to guess what the RAW data might be. I added around 30 combinations in total to a bash 'script' and fired them at the HE105. Luckily one of the 30 combinations matched to switch off the HE105 and it does it reliably.

However it only turns off one of my HE105's. Both units have the same settings and the ON signal works for both units but not the OFF signal. Obviously my guess of the off signal is not quite right but it is strange that one of the units responds and the other doesn't.

Can anything be done with the raw simplified and binary details to switch off the HE105? I have several Arduino's and wondered if I could send the binary data with lots of variations until I get a reliable OFF signal for both HE105's.

I will do further work when curlymo's kit arrives but I wondered if anyone had a HE105 working with pilight and specifically what the protocol is. I believe the webgui can't be used with RAW codes and wouldn't what the workaround is. I guess I can use crontab and similar to do what I want but a GUI would be nice. Any suggestions? My coding skills are VERY basic.

I have attached links to the Audacity project file and associated wav file which covers 3 OFF followed by 3 ON signals. Recorded from SDR using VB Audio Virtual Cable Control.

When I finally got the DVB tuner to work the signal is picked up quite clearly but I really don't have a clue what to do with the signal now.

Do we have anyone that can interpret the SDR data?

Maybe someone can take care of the protocol and the debug results i've posted in post #12, to have a nativ support for the Elro HE8xx series and to get rid of the workaround.

Hello,

I try to debug my mumbi AB440R switch.
But there is to much noise in pilight-debug, see attachment.

how may I select the required entries?

In addition I try to debug a SLG SKunststofffabrik Sender RS 200 TR

Both are sender with learning switches.

I am a french "senior" electronik technician but a bad programmer and have made a home domotik system with ELRO components .I use a little computer under Debian and i have use Gambas2 to "drive" my domotik ,it works fine.I use 433Mhz transmitter through the RTS signal from serial port on my computer. I will now to use an raspberry pi and pilight (to access remotly with my android phone).
i use several HE 889 up and down units then open and close full or partially my "rool shutters".for example to open the shutter i send with the 3 ELRO protocols an device "ON" to start the shutter motor, then a tempo (for several seconds) and then an device "ON" to stop it.
Is it possible to create a ELRO protocol that have an "ON" or "OFF" command with an optionnal parameter that make a tempo in milliseconds (at this time the tempo is at max of 35 seconds for roll shutters with 2 meters height) ?
Sorry for my bad english
Thanks
Jack
PS:if you want , i can give you more details on my programm under Gambas

Hallo,

I still try to understand which entry in pilight-debug and pilight-receive corresponds to my mumbi AB440R sender and switches.
I receive a lot of entries with receive and debug.

In pilight-receive entries with
protocol elro_he_switch systemcode 20 unitcode 11 state on/off and
protocol elro_he_contact systemcode 20 unitcode 11 state opened/closed seem to correspond to the use of the sender.

But if I pilight-send this code nothing happens also if I send the debugged raw code.

How may I get to a solution? Why does receive reports so many entries, I am living in a one-familiy house and only two weather-stations are active here.

In other post it is reported, that the Receiver XY-MK-5V only receives message on short distances.

I hope somebody can tell me, why I get so many input with receive and debug.

Best Regards

Hey Guys,

i haven't done an apt-get upgrade for a long time, yesterday i did it and my 433mhz elro switches (elro ab440s) stopped working. I found out that apt-get upgrade did an firmware-update which caused the stable pilight to crash (cpu way too high). Thus i changed to nightly built and get pilight working again.

I used protocol elro_he which is not longer supported in the nightly built.. i can't get my switches working in the nightly built even not with trying elro 400 protocol...

I cant imagine that the famous elro ab440 switches described in every second tutorial cannot be used with pilight anymore.

Do you have any solutions for me?

Thanks a lot in advance

If you're using the nightly built, then you have to use the syntax for the nightly. Please read here.

thanks a lot lcd4linux... you made my day! Saw this before but cant imagine that the ab440 switches should be part of the 800-series.. Thanks again!
