I have an KAKU APIR-2150 (an outdoor PIR)
it acts like a switch for on, and a timed off (5s, 1m, 10m etc).
pilight-receive doesn't recognize the device so nothing is shown there.

pilight-debug says this:

using the pilight-send -p raw i can mimic the PIR's on and off, so the i know i captured the right data.

Is it necessary to make a new protocol for this device? Or could it be added as a different version of a arctech switch?

edit:
I see there is a dusk sensor protocol in development. Could someone point me in the right direction how to use this a base for a arctech_pir protocol?

https://github.com/pilight/pilight/blob/...ech_dusk.c

It can confirm it works with arctech_dusk, so creating an additional protocol should be easy.

I'm not sure if i understand your reply, did you mistype and meant "i can confirm?"

but here goes;

Could it be so trivial as to change the
Code:
protocol_plslen_add(arctech_dusk, 277);
on line 69 in arctech_dusk.c
to ?
Code:
protocol_plslen_add(arctech_dusk, 279);

and change all references to dusk in motion (or what should we call it?), change the .h file and then recompile?

i'm at work (lunch break) so i can't test this right now.

Just install arctech_dusk:
Code:
apt-get install pilight-protocol-arctech-dusk
And see for yourself.

ah.. i run a source build version based on the my_guigg source of wo-rasp because i also have the KAKU AMST-606 contact sensors so the apt-get will not work i presume?

So i downloaded the dusk protocol the .c and .h files and added them to /libs/protocols/ and recompiled everything.

i then added a device to my config with protocol kaku_dusk and everything started without error.
when i'm home tonight i will check if pilight-receive sees the motion detector pulses...

kaku_dusk protocol works but only if I set pulselen to 279.
And dawn turns on and dusk turn off.
I switched the ==1 and now it works as it should.

Tried to replace dusk (and. Dusk) with motion and Motion in the .c and .h file and did a clean and new make but that gave me errors.
I'm away for 4 weeks this Friday so no further actions from me for some time...

Sending doesn't work somehow...

Sending doesn't work because a sensor can't receive Smile I shall make a motion for you. Not that much work.

Done
Code:
apt-get install arctech-motion
Can you create the wiki page for it?

I will, but that will be in about four weeks..
Will be travellein,leaving Friday...

Can confirm the new protocol works as it should by the way.
Thank you very much for the fast response.

Hello,

Thank you for the amazing pilight. :-)
I have some KAKU devices and it works perfect.
The only 2 devices a can not receive are KAKU AWST-6000 PIR Sensor and a AWMT-003 switch.
(In debug it works fine)

On this forum i found yoyr recently made arctech-motion protocol. unfortunaly i can not install it.
My Pi says:
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo apt-get install arctech-motion
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package arctech-motion

I hope yoy can help me (and do you have an already made protocol for the AWMT-003?)

Thanks Ruud
