Hello,

first of all let me thank you for the development of pilight, it's a lot of fun to play with and made my life a lot easier.

But now my question:

I recently bought this shutter belt winder: http://www.amazon.de/Home-Easy-HE501EU-R...B006H0IWB6 (also availble from Intertek, Elro, etc).

my config is as follows:

Code:
},
                "rolloterrassentuer": {
                        "name": "Rollo Terrassentür",
                        "protocol": [ "elro_he" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "systemcode": 27,
                                "unitcode": 4
                        }],
                        "state": "on"
                }

The belt winder is "self learning" and responds fine to any command.

But: is there any possibility to add up/down states to this protocol? Or maybe make an "elro_he_screen" protocol?

I have few to zero programming skills tbh, is there an easy solution i might not have seen?

The included remote only has two Buttons, up&down. No dip switches or wheels.

The screen can be stopped from travelling down by pushing he UP button on the remote an vice versa.

I appreciate your help!

Edit: i installed pilight from the stable ppa to keep it compatibel with pimatic; if that matters in any way.

Does it fully work with elro_he already? Also, is on = up and off = down?

Yes,

it does work.

pilight-receive does not recognise the signals from the included remote, though.

The problem with it being recognised as switch is:

as soon as the screen is on its way down, i can stop it from the webgui by switching it back to "on"; but i cannot send it up again (until it reaches its lowest point), as the only possibility is to put the switch to "off".

Right now i have a pretty dirty workaround with a dummy screen in pilight an rules in pimatic (works, but as i said, quite dirty).

And yes, ON=UP, OFF=DOWN

Regards

Christian
