[v6.0 > v7.0] Errors with the latest nightly
#31
Yes

#32
The everlasting story Big Grin I try to install the new "generic_label" protocol...
Code:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
pilight-protocol-generic-label : Depends: pilight (>= 6.0) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
root@homepi:/etc/pilight# pilight-daemon -V
pilight-daemon version 6.0, commit v6.0-79-gd9f408e
I have disabled all repositories but nightly. Also tried to remove completely and reinstall from scratch.
Am I missing something?
Thx..

EDIT: actually I can't install even more packages:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
Code:
pilight-protocol-elro-800-contact : Depends: pilight (>= 5.0) but it is not going to be installed
pilight-protocol-elro-800-switch : Depends: pilight (>= 5.0) but it is not going to be installed

You don't need to install protocols manually when running nightlies... Use apt-get update && apt-get upgrade to get the latest version. The protocols are included in the nightly builds, no need for extra installing to be able to use them.

Hi guys,

yesterday I installed pilight on my Raspberry Pi Model B with Raspbian.
It works fine for me so far, except of one problem.
When I start pilight there are no problems shown. But when I open the web gui I still have this result from openweathermap:
[attachment=334]

Here the versions output:
Code:
pilight-daemon version 6.0, commit v6.0-79-gd9f408e

And here my config.json output:
Code:
weather": {
                       "protocol": [ "openweathermap" ],
                       "id": [{:P
                                "country": "DE",
                                "location": "Berlin"
                        }],
                        "humidity": 26.00,
                        "temperature": 10.75,
                        "sunrise": 6.46,
                        "sunset": 19.35,
                        "sun": "rise",
                        "update": 0,
                        "poll-interval": 600
}
...
"weather": {
                        "name": "Wetter",
                        "group": [ "Allgemeine Informationen" ],
                        "media": [ "all" ],
                        "show-temperature": 1,
                        "show-humidity": 1
}

I also tried with "de" and "berlin" with no effect.

Thanks for your time,
X-biC

Can you post debug output from running pilight-daemon -D please, maybe there is a helpful error message there. You can probably also check the log file.

Code:
# pilight-daemon -D

This is the output from the pilight.log after starting pilight and opening the page with the openweathermap plugin on it in a Browser:
Code:

I also See that there is an NTP problem. And the clock from datetime is an hour ahead the real time.
And the logging time is also wrong. But if iI use date command I get the right time from the Server.

Hiw could i fix it?

It does not seem to have any information about the openweathermap protocol, can you post full output of running pilight-daemon -D for ca. 1 minute please?

For the datetime issue, have you defined ntp server(s) like the nightly requires it/them?

When I type pilight-deamon -D I only get the two lines like the output in my posts shows :-/

Here the settings section with the ntp entries:
Code:
"settings": {
                "log-level": 4,
                "pid-file": "/var/run/pilight.pid",
                "log-file": "/var/log/pilight.log",
                "receive-repeats": 1,
                "webserver-enable": 1,
                "webserver-root": "/var/www/pilight/",
                "webserver-port": 5001,
                "webserver-cache": 1,
                "ntp-servers": [ "0.de.pool.ntp.org" ],
                "ntp-sync": 1
        },

The message it gives you states that pilight is already running, so you need to stop it. You need to run
Code:
sudo service pilight stop
first in order to stop the pilight service. Then you can try running sudo pilight-daemon -D

Your settings look fine to me, I don't think there is a problem there.
