BTW: last year I restarted C programming (Arduinos) after a long break, so do not expect too much...

Sorry for digging up an old thread. I am trying to do the same thing: PIR motion sensor+Arduino+433mHz to RaspberryPi+pilight+homeassistantio.

Would you mind sharing the Arduino code that was used to send the signal? I have used VirtualWire for some successful testing between Arduinos, but am lost as to how to communicate with the raspberrypi.
