pilight Nano USB interface
I am now able to receive this and pilight-debug does not crash anymore:

Code:
--[RESULTS]--

time:           (null)
hardware:       433nano
pulse:          2
rawlen:         50
pulselen:       213

Raw code:
460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 460 460 140 460 460 460 140 460 460 460 140 460 460 460 140 460 460 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 140 460 7270

The parseRaw function get's called fir impuls in the pilight-daemon console, but the data is not parsed correctly (no message appears, the gui buttons do not change).

Sending and receiving for kaku_switch_old seems to be working now Smile

Let's try again because the debug is clearly different.

I read many things about usb nano and run pilight with it but do not
find a install instruction for dummys like me and others to get it working ;-)

Some parts in the forum, others on github & website make me crazy by seeking.

Can someone please generate a step-by-step manual for installing pilight for usb nano in the wiki? Maybe one for each device or OS where it is possible to run.

installing pilight
nightly version on Ubuntu 14.4 for the moment - right?

how to wire reciever & sender
receiver = D2, sender = D5 - right?

finding out the right port for usb nano
the only matching device i found is
"Bus 001 Device 009: ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics HL-340 USB-Serial adapter"
this should be /dev/ttyUSB0 in config.json - right?

flashing the firmware to usb nano
no clue how at the moment...

what is possible to do for the moment?
send / receive ?
gpio ?
1-wire ?

If this already exists and i only did not find it please give me a hint.

Thanks for help!

1. Installation:
You have this file in the pilight clone:
https://github.com/pilight/pilight/blob/...b_nano.hex

Flash that to the Arduino Nano:
Code:
pilight-flash -f pilight_usb_nano.hex -p COM1
pilight-flash -f pilight_usb_nano.hex -p /dev/ttyUSB1
The COM port depends on your computer.

2. Wiring: Yes
3. COM port: Yes
4. Possibilities: Sending and receiving

Thank you for the quick response.

What does this error mean for me?
Code:
root@notebook:/home/terrar/Downloads/nano# pilight-flash -f pilight_usb_nano.hex -p /dev/ttyUSB3

The device is a cheap one from CN.

Altough it is quite some time ago, I gave the nano a shot again (after I also ran into the famous FTDI bricking...). I dunno what happened, but I can confirm that it also works for me now! pilight Nano alive and kicking @ OpenSUSE 13.2. Thanks CurlyMoand the other contributors!
