Hello,

plight-send is no longer a global setting.
Is there a way to add a repeat-value to this command:
Code:
sudo pilight-send -p intertechno_switch -i 4324564 -u 9 --on -S 127.0.0.1 -P 5252
to repeat five times
Code:
sudo pilight-send -p intertechno_switch -i 4324564 -u 9 --on -S 127.0.0.1 -P 5252 -r 5

Thanks for help,

Simon

No, send repeats are now hard-coded into protocols, thus you can't change often a code is transmitted.
Also, don't you mean send-repeats as the setting you are looking for?

Thanks for your answer. The send-repeats in the settings doesn't work longer, and i don't know how to put it in the settings in another way.

I have not configured settings for a protocol, i only use this direct commands without the pilight guy etc, maybe i must see how to add it in the config...

As we said before. send-repeats is obsolete for the end user.

Okay, sorry, i have understood wrong. I thought it is no longer a global setting but can be edit for each protocol or device...

But why is it obsolete now for the end user?

This is what we mean by protocol specific:
https://github.com/pilight/pilight/blob/....c#L33-L34

They are part of the protocol code.

They are obsolete because we noticed that the send-repeats were an essential part of the functioning of some protocols. Some actually require a repeat of 8 and when you made that a 7 or a 9, the device would stop work.

I am sorry für the wrong alert about Webcam support. It is working awesome! Even with the previous configuration.

Turned out that my dumb router gave the same IP address to the Raspi and a notebook at the same time. I configured that Thomson already to use fixes IPs anyway.
Strange, that I could access the Raspi with SSH - else I might have find that issue earlier.

Hmmm... okay..

Some devices worked well with plight v6 and the send-repeats set to 10, and now they receive the on command, but not on the off command, only after a few times sending the command...

So i need to find the used protocol on github and have to compile it myself? Uff.... Not very easy for me.

There are instructions on how to compile by yourself on the pilight manual http://manual.pilight.org. If you follow those, but between cloning and running setup.sh edit the protocol file to set a different number of send repeats you should be good.
