OpenWRT Support
#1
Hello,

it would be nice if pilight get proper openwrt support.
Not only for one arch.

Now the pilight-openwrt is compiled for only one type.

If there would exist a proper openwrt-package on

https://github.com/openwrt/packages

everyone with an openwrt-router which has usb would profit.

THX.

So..., what router do you have and what is the arch?

I would also be nice to hear a "how great pilight got ported to OpenWRT, but sadly, it's not supported on my arch". Just saying...

I never said it is not supported on my arch. This was your imagination. And if there were a proper openwrt-package we would not discuss about arch.

I thought i make a constructive proposal. Just saying ...

And in my oppinion as software developer i can't say "how great pilight got ported to OpenWRT" because it's not.

^Best way to go and ask for help... just sayin'

So what is it that you want? For pilight to be added to the github repo you named above? It would be useful if you said how to do that, requirements, etc.

Same counts for me in regard to this level of OpenWRT support.

I guess that the urgency also depends on the number of (potential) pilight-on-openWRT users... If there aren't very many, maybe it is not so urgent to do all the required work.
