For Sale own-made pilight shield.

Because I've stopped using pilight, I'm selling my self build 'pilight-shield'.
(I'm not a seller or reseller - only one shield available)

This shield has been used 6 months and is fully tested & working.

It's build up with an original Adafruit Prototyping Shield and uses the official sender/receiverkit + pilight filter.
The sender/receiver parts are plugged into headers, so if they can easely be replaced (without soldering)

The shield has screwheaders for all GPIO's, making it possible to easely connect 1-wire sensors / DHT11/22 / serial interfaces (like smart meters) etc.

Price € 25,- (excl. shipping)

If interested please send me a mail : [Image: mailadres.jpg]

When I started with pilight, I had 3 KaKu switches and it was just a fun project for me. I expanded and expanded. Right now I have the following:

2x 18B20 Temp Sensors
9x KaKu Old
3x Kaku New
KaKu PIR
2x Flamingo Smoke Detector
Chuango PIR
Chuango Door Contact
3x Chinese Therm. Hum. Sensor
2x SelectPlus DoorBell

Beside these actuators, I also build my custom made Gas & Power logging solution + dashboard that collects the data of my P1 meter.
To have insights on how my Pi was performing I used rpi-monitor.

To control everything and have insights, I had to use 3 websites:

pilight for controlling the lights
dashboard for my power & gas
rpimonitor to monitor my Pi

I wanted to combine these into one webconsole.

Also the absence to create scene's (not using insane long rules) and a good scheduling option (that can also be used by my wife) made me decide to migrate to Domoticz.

As an example, withing Domoticz I created a rule 'watch TV' that turns off all the 'normal' lights, turn on all LED lights and switch the color of the LED lights. Set the heater to 22C and turn on the TV (if it is off). It took less then a minute to create this scene and I didn;t have to write any code.

In the favor of pilight, I have to say that by using pilight for almost a year I have a much better understanding on how 433Mhz works and how to write rules etc.
