Problem with protocol quigg_gt7000 and id 0
#1
Hi,

when I add my quigg_gt7000 to my device list in config.json the pilight service failed to start
Code:
[...]
        "devices": {
                "Quigg1": {
                        "protocol": [ "quigg_gt7000" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "id": 0,
                                "unit": 0
                        }],
                        "state": "off"
                }
        },
[...]
If I change the "id" from 0 to another value like 1, the service is able to start. Only the value 0 for "id" results in a failed starting process.

The command pilight-send works correctly with the id 0
Code:
pilight-send -p quigg_gt7000 -i 0 -u 0 -t

Here my complete config.json:
Code:
{
        "devices": {
                "Brennstuhl1": {
                        "protocol": [ "elro_800_switch" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "systemcode": 11,
                                "unitcode": 1
                        }],
                        "state": "off"
                },
                "Quigg1": {
                        "protocol": [ "quigg_gt7000" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "id": 1,
                                "unit": 0
                        }],
                        "state": "off"
                }
        },
        "rules": {},
        "gui": {
                "Brennstuhl1": {
                        "name": "Brennstuhl 1",
                        "group": [ "test" ]
                }
        },

                "webserver-root": "/usr/local/share/pilight/",
                "webserver-http-port": 5001,
                "webserver-cache": 1
        },
        "hardware": {
                "433gpio": {
                        "sender": 0,
                        "receiver": 1
                }
        },
        "registry": {
                "pilight": {
                        "firmware": {
                                "version": 535,
                                "lpf": 184400,
                                "hpf": 5200

What pilight version are you using? There is a fix for this in the development branch.

Latest version from "http://apt.pilight.org/ stable main" (installed via https://manual.pilight.org/en/installation)

//EDIT Config.json registry says
Code:
"pilight": {
        "firmware": {
                "version": 535,
                "lpf": 184400,
                "hpf": 5200
        },
        "version": {
                "current": "7.0"
        }
}

Ah, ok. The fix isn't in the stable version, so you will need to manually compile the developmental version of pilight if you need to use "id": 0
See the pilight manual for step-by-step instructions on how to do that.
