[Fully Supported] Conrad RSL Switch
#61
The excel you posted gives me no clue; as for example the ON is not matching any other 'ON' pulses. So keep up searching for another explanation.

Hi,

I don't know pilight but I was asked for assistance (I'm maintaining the arduino rc-switch library) Smile

First at all I'm not sure if the decoding is correct. When visualizing the raw codes I have no idea how the binary code is determined. For example:

(03-31-2014, 07:06 AM)Hellcube Wrote: On.1
Code:
pulse:          4
rawlen:         66
binlen:         16
pulselen:       194

Raw code:
1358 582 582 1164 1358 582 1358 582 582 1164 1358 582 1358 582 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 1358 582 582 1164 582 1164 1358 582 582 1164 1358 582 582 1164 1358 582 582 1164 1358 582 1358 582 1358 582 1358 582 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 582 1164 776 6596
Binary code:
1001110111100111

Looks like 32 bit Binary code 10110110000001001010101111000000 - and I don't think you can substitute this to 16 bit:

(Tool for visualization: http://test.sui.li/oszi/index4b.php - just paste the raw code)

Whatever tool you are using. The issues with the pattern remain. That there is no clear fixed on/off bit.

Staring at the data for an while but I also don't see a clear pattern. The on/off code of the second button does not make any sense Smile

As far as i see the Protocol is:
[2 bits fixed/unique for each remote] + [2 bits button number] + [4 bits on/off and device group] + [24 bits fixed/unique for each remote]

There is a good chance that the [4 bits on/off and device group] bits are allways the same for every remote/group/button combination. There are only 4*4*2=32 combinations at all - if it is like this, I would just put them into a lookup table.

Here is a all-combinations example from: http://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/252895
Code:
(1st group)
10 11   0110 110100101011100111000000  = 1 on

A lookup table is always an option but still the last one.

Thank You Sui for your help.

Im thinking that there maybe a third option on/dimlevel/off. The off button always works the same. But when I hold the On button for longer period it start the dim process. It slowly dims the light until i press the off button (sets the dim value on wall plug). Maybe the ON button can set a dim level?

I have translated it with google translate and from what i understand:

first two bits is only the synchronizing sequence (constant 10)
2 bit keys 1-4 (unique)
2 bit on / off
2 bit selector switch 1-4 on the remote control
24-bit remote control ID

But from what i see the 2 bits on / off are the same all the time :/
