I missed the GS-IWDS07 protocol description in the current manual.

I tried according to the former protocol description here, however I get already a failure when I start the pilight service.
Tested with version is 8.0.2

Failure message:
Job for pilight.service failed because the control process exited with error cod e.
See "systemctl status pilight.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Is this protocol still supported ?

Always try running the pilight daemon in debug mode if it will not start as usual:

Code:
sudo pilight-daemon -D

and post the output and your confighere so that we can help you.

Hmm, my bad for not noticing earlier: the protocol hasn't been merged into pilight yet. See the pending pull request here: https://github.com/pilight/pilight/pull/337

Looks like it needs a little rebasing and cleanup, as well as unittests for the rewrite branch, and then it should be good to go!

while searching for my procotol to do I someway found this thread.
its exacly what I need its a ev1527 procotol but somehow not really.
great work but its a year ago and its still in development / not pulled?

Ive just pulled the current develop branch from pilight official 8.0.6 and put you iw*.c and .h to it and edit the CMakeConfig file and wow it works sooo well!!

Thank you so much!

Btw.
I think pilight has to move to protocol configuration files or another modular way to integrate new protocols for testing.

just upload it as your code its no copyright, its open source and its your code. I dont see any problem if this dude doesnt accept the rules.

I just updated pilight to 8.0. How can I install the protocol again? Unsure

Please put the protocol in the official release.
