Smartwares switch SH5-RBU-04A and SH5-RBS-04A doesn't work with 8.0.3
#31
Dear all,

I'm using pilight 8.0.2 with a Raspberry PI 2+ and want to use it with Smartwares SH5-TBD-02A switch. I can use this switch with a appropriate remote and also could receive the signals of this remote with pilight-receive.

Code:
{
    "message": {
        "id": 17277950,
        "unit": 4,
        "state": "on"
    },
    "origin": "receiver",
    "protocol": "arctech_switch",
    "uuid": "0000-b8-27-eb-5fe98b",
    "repeats": 1
}

But when I send the remote commands by pilight, the switch is not working.
Code:
pilight-send -p kaku_switch -i 17277950 -u 4 -t

Also tried other protocols.

It is also not possible to "learn" pilight to the switch with a special protocol (e. g. "kaku_switch", ...).

With pilight-debug I got for On:

Code:
240 2610 240 270 270 1320 240 1320 240 300 240 300 240 1320 240 300 240 1350 240 300 240 1320 240 300 240 1350 210 300 240 1320 240 1350 240 300 240 1350 240 300 240 1350 240 300 240 1350 210 300 240 300 210 1350 210 1350 210 300 210 330 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 240 300 240 1350 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 240 300 240 1470 150 240 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 210 330 240 1380 210 300 210 330 210 1350 210 300 210 1350 210 1350 210 330 210 300 210 1350 210 1350 210 330 210 330 210 1350 210 330 210 1350 210 10230

By sending this with pilight raw, I can control the switch.

I still tried was is written here in this thread. Also tried this installation:

Code:
root@pilight:~# git clone --depth 10 -b dev_smartwaves https://www.github.com/wo-rasp/pilight.git

I have a lot of other switches of other manufactures which are working perfectly.

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks and best,

raspberry

Hi,
I'm using smartwares switches SH5-RBS-04A and SH5-RBU-04a.
I could configure them with 7.0 as KAKU_switches and use the nicely.
In 8.0 I neither can use (switch on/off) nor reconfigure them.
My other switches (using heitch or elco_800 protokoll) are working fine, as before.
The switches can be easly configure with the corresponding remote control.
Code:
"WorksWell": {
                        "protocol": [ "heitech" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "systemcode": 27,
                                "unitcode": 2
                        }],
                        "state": "off"
                },

"DontWorkAnyMore": {
                        "protocol": [ "kaku_switch" ],
                        "id": [{
                                "id": 23,
                                "unit": 8
                        }],
                        "state": "off"
                },
I tried different protokolls, too.

Any idea how to get them back working again?

Thanks

Happy to do so.
But where is it?
My search did not return any?
I might be blind or use search in a wrong way.
Please provide a link or reference.
Thanks in advance

The updatet version is not working with the newest kernel. Can you please tell me where I can find the protocols if I have the newest pilight installed so I can make the changes manually to get it to work with the switch and newest kernel?

Hi there,

I bought a brand new SH5-RPS-36B (this is the outdoor version) and managed to get it working using "kaku_screen" protocol.

Hope this works for you as well.

I'm joining in on the fun - SH5-RBU-04a and same behaviour, being recognized as all kinds of arctech

Code:
{
       "message": {
               "id": 8857600,
               "unit": 1,
               "state": "off"
       },
       "origin": "receiver",
       "protocol": "arctech_switch",
       "uuid": "0000-b8-27-eb-99e71d",
       "repeats": 1
}
{
       "message": {
               "id": 8857600,
               "unit": 1,
               "state": "down"
       },
       "origin": "receiver",
       "protocol": "arctech_screen",
       "uuid": "0000-b8-27-eb-99e71d",
       "repeats": 1
}
{
       "message": {
               "id": 8857600,
               "unit": 1,
               "state": "closed"
       },
       "origin": "receiver",
       "protocol": "arctech_contact",
       "uuid": "0000-b8-27-eb-99e71d",
       "repeats": 1
}

I tried to capture the output in raw but I have so much 443 chatter around here that that seems to be hard, I'll have to repeat that in an isolated environment.

At any rate, i havent's had luck with any protocol available including kaku_screen. - The remote will trigger the switch, the Pi won't.

I've tried stuff along the lines of

Code:
pilight-send -p kaku_screen -i 8857600 --up -u 1

and all variations with "all" (if available).

I'm on v8.0.4 on Raspberry v2 with raspbian (Linux raspberrypi 4.9.59-v7+ #1047 SMP Sun Oct 29 12:19:23 GMT 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux)

btw.. these used to be "elro_300" type of devices (the one I did the code for once) - however they switched the protocol at some point...

I've ported my smartware changes descripbed here to pilight 8.0.8.

If you want to compile pilight yourself, get the changed version here:

Code:
git clone --depth 10 https://www.github.com/sreinelt/pilight.git
