Raw code from pilight-debug always different
#1
Hi,

I'm trying to identify the RF codes from my ceiling fan remote with `pilight-debug`. I've read on another site, describing something similar, that I should look out for a sequence of similar numbers like so
Code:
209 627 627 209 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 627 209 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 627 209 627 209 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 627 209 7106

One problem is, that I'm constantly receiving codes without even pressing the remote. Maybe other devices sending without my knowledge. I wouldn't have thought that many of my devices signalling with 433Mhz.
I piped `pilight-debug`'s output to a file to investigate the codes, but not only was I not able to find similar codes to the  one above, but not even a single repeating one. It seems as if the pressing the button always sends dissimilar codes. Is this possible? What am I to make of it?

Many thanks in advance.

Code are never perfectly similar. They are relatively similar.

Hm, ok. Just to be clear, I wasn't implying to look for exactly the same code I mentioned. Just something with fewer but repeating numbers.

Or did you mean, that the codes transmitted by the remote will always differ a bit?

I'm sorry for asking, but I'm not really familiar with the territory. Just trying to do a little project.

They always differ a bit. But post more similar outputs and we can think with you.
