Eken Wifi Doorbell (V5)
#1
hi everyone,

I have a Eken Wifi doorbell which also sends out a 433 signal when the doorbell is pressed. I would like to catch these signals with pilight.

I made a pilight-debug log where i tried to prevent interference from other sensors:
https://pastebin.com/LqWp8LvY

I have cloned a git and looked at the protocols, but if i edit the #define PULSE_MULTIPLIER, MIN_PULSE_LENGTH, MAX_PULSE_LENGT, AVG_PULSE_LENGTH and  RAW_LENGTH fields. i get results but also some false positives from time to time.

Am i doing something wrong? Or what to do? I don't know really what i'm doing here Smile

Edit: Here is my eken_Doorbell.c file i tried to make: https://pastebin.com/BzfFkcge

Well, I would say all of them?

I would say not, they differ way too much.

I made a second measurement of the doorbell. Maybe the two combined give a more clear picture?

What values are you looking a to get information?

Can you try sending one of those raw pulses to see if the doorbell rings?

Well the problem is I don't have the doorbell chime. That's why I wanna catch the signal.

I made a recording with a RTL SDR receiver i have over here. I managed to find some signal and recorded it to audio. Afterwards i opened it in audacity:

Does this help? I uploaded a file: https://we.tl/t-3n0dbl6syd
I uploaded the wave file i recorded. I pushed (long-press) the doorbell button twice. In the picture above i aligned the two presses to see that they kinda match.

So, i tried some more things. On another location where there is no/less 433 interference i had the doorbell and a esp8266. I flashed ESPilight and RCswitch firmware to test stuff and i got some output:

ESPilight-debug: https://pastebin.com/SHBBFKSW
ESPilight-receive-raw: https://pastebin.com/bkzXp7yN
RCSwitch Receivedemo-Advanced: https://pastebin.com/YfSbSRB9

Is this debug info helpful? On the espilight you can see that i pressed the button a couple of times. pilight detects multiple messages when i press the doorbell. Smile
