No the full pilight stack is running at home where there is more interference from other 433 devices. That's why I tried with a Arduino in another location.

If you can't get similar output (not even once) with pilight, that protocol is not going to work as well.

Yes well define similar. What needs to be the same? The difficult thing is that at home i don't have like a 'clean-room', so i cannot guarantee that all the output i see is only from the doorbell. And it seems like pilight picks up multiple codes from one doorbell press.

So i see some events which have almost the same pulselen, is that what i'm looking for? or what?

The most important aspect is the number of pulses.

Ok, so you mean the "pulse" value? How about here? This is pure doorbell measurements. No other 433 devices as interference.

No these:

Which are 164 pulses.

All,

First of all, pilight rulez. Got it for years and works superb.

I too have this (kind of) doorbell. There many so called 'brands', but they seem to be all the same. Mine is a Video Doorbell V5 like this one: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32958956017.html Of course i can buy the chime for a few Euro's but are eager to find out what how it works.

Having said that, you never know what they've put in it...

When i use pilight-debug this is what i get:

Short press first time:

It seems as though which each increasing press of the button, more messages are appearing. Does this make sense, or did i just press it a tiny bit longer each consecutive time?

And the million dollar question: can it be automated in pilight?

Thanks for all you effort!
