pilight 8.1.4 crashes after some hours
#1
Hi curlymo!

As requested a new thread for the crash I experience after some hours of running pilight 8.1.4-49.  I append the start and end of debug-output as log21.txt. Before the crash the normal log shows
Code:
[May 12 18:50:45:888334] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetArbeitstagAus
[May 12 18:50:45:905402] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetLabelEGArbeit2
[May 12 18:50:45:907166] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetLabelEG2
[May 12 18:50:45:908594] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetLabelEG4
[May 12 18:50:45:910236] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetLabelOG1
[May 12 18:50:45:911579] pilight-daemon: INFO: executed rule: SetLabelRollos1
[May 12 18:50:45:916262] pilight-daemon: ERROR: attempt to index a number value
[May 12 18:50:45:916262] pilight-daemon: ERROR: attempt to index a number value

log22.txt is another run with the crash and and the pilight.log ends in:
Code:
ERROR: attempt to index a number value

I see you have a new nightly. Shall I retest with this one?

Uli

Can you try getting that crash again on the latest version. That should give me more info into where it happens.

Please install  the latest nightly and keep is running in debug mode (inside a screen session). Even more preferably when running with gdb (do install the pilight-dbg variant) and when it crashes post the debug output.

I've been searching for two bugs for weeks now with @Ulrich.Arnold, but still haven't found it myself.

In the meanwhile i've been adding more and more debug helpers to be able to track the issue.

Unfortunally, the pi I´m working on actually is for a Standalone-Application, so that I´d like to stay in the main branch.

I will set up another pi as lab-Environment in the same manner and do Debugging. Only difference is, that it will be a pi2
