customizable user interface

hey there,
it would be cool to add a feature

which allows you to override the displayed status of devices,
maybe ->up and down or freely selectable for each device

Code:
"protocol": ["relay"],
"id": [{ "gpio": 0   }],
"state": "off"
"default-state": "off"

default state == on / off

Code:

"default-state": "off"

"state": "on / off", changeable to whatever you want
"state": "X / Y"
"state": "X = freely selectable"
"state": "Y = freely selectable"

where can i find the things witch has make a change?
