Hardware that would be needed for 915Mhz protocol development?

I know very little about hardware, let alone protocol development, but I'm curious what hardware might be needed to send and receive codes from my raspberry pi to and from a 915Mhz device. I occasionally google 915Mhz devices and found these today. Does anyone have the technical knowledge to know if these could possibly be compatible with a raspberry pi and pilight?:
