Hey,

i've got a simple question: What are the conditions for the sorting of the "rooms" in the slide-in menu? It's defintly not the same as the config is build up...

best regards

Good morning! The locations aren't sorted, they appear as they are printed by the daemon when asking for a config. So that is sort of random.
Devices are not randomly presented but grouped per location, type and finally name (so not on order of the config).

The daemon will communicate the config in a sorted way (as you created it), however in java a json object isn't stored sorted so an additional step needs to be taken before the configuration is actually printed as a gui.

So, do Ok think it would be possible to preserve the original order by adding a step and restore it short before the printing?

I'll have a look later on. Now that I think of it, the locations are actually sorted, anti-alphabetically to be exact. I can change this by adding the order for them.
The devices themselves are sorted differently in a way that ignores the order set in the config. This was a choice I made, that will stay the way it is now. Temperatures first, then switches, dimmers, relays, screens and finally the contact sensors.

It's definitely low priority, so you don't have to hurry up. I was just wondering what's the reason for this random like sorting.

I've udated my app to https://github.com/pilight/pilight/commi...76ef6e511e

Now supported sunrise/sunset and the new way of setting settings.
Only an APK here (in a zipfile because I'm not allowed to upload apk's directly), not on the play store as I'll keep the play store version inline with the master branch.

Layout isn't actually ready for this change, I'll need a staggered gridview for this, when using the normal gridview you'll see it fast enoughSmile Besides that, I want to add some color or something, I don't know yet how exactly.

welcome back Zatta Wink

There seems to be an issue with the decimals. The Webgui shows 21.30°C for the DHT22 and your app 2.1°C. The DS18B20 shows 21.31°C in the webgui and 213.1°C in the app.

Furthermore, the app seems to jumble up some of the remote. Will try to debug it tomorrow when I've got more time.

best regards

Hi, can you post your current config with the dht sui that I know what to look for?
And what do you mean with "jumble up the remote"?

Btw, I've got the staggered grid working :-)

DS18B20:
Code:
"DS18B201": {
                        "name": "Temp DS18B20",
                        "protocol": [ "ds18b20" ],
                        "id": [{
                           "id": "00000530ed24"
                        }],
                        "temperature": 1,
                        "gui-show-temperature": 1,
                        "poll-interval": 30,
                        "gui-decimals": 2
                }

DHT22:
Code:
"DHT22": {
                        "name": "Temp DHT22",
                        "protocol": [ "dht22" ],
                        "id": [{
                           "gpio": 2
                        }],
                        "humidity": 1,
                        "temperature": 1,
                        "gui-show-temperature": 1,
                        "gui-show-humidity": 1,
                        "poll-interval": 60,
                        "gui-decimals": 2
                }
Well... With "jumbled up the remote" I tried to say, that sometimes wrong switches are switched when pressing the right button Big Grin
But as I said - I need more tme for debugging - maybe it's a protocol issue or something else. Altough, switching with the webgui works without any problems.

Nice work with the staggered grid man!
