Great, with this latest addition i'm trying to output the home code letters instead of numbers.

it was crashing but I fixed it by changing the letters char to:

Code:
char const* letters[17] = { "A","B","C","D","E","F","G","H","I","J","K","L","M","N","O","P" };

Don't know why it was crashing but this fixed it. But I believe the other way should work too.

I also added the letter P.

Now it works correct. Shows the letter. But I see when the binary starts with a 0 it does not work at all.

I've discussed the usage of the letters as output with some people and came to the conclusion we can better not. So if you use the latest code from git, you should now be able to use the receiver for kaku old. Can you tell me if the sending already worked?

I've build from git now. Recieve does not work, and send does not work Crying

Can you compare the old working code to the new one?

I don't see any important changes, only I think the on/off is switched again. But I will try it again this evening. I don't see other changes in the 2 functions. only state switch and letters. So it should just work I guess :/

did not work at all, rebooted the device. and see it works a littlebit.

But when I press off I see:
Code:
{
    "code": {
        "id": 1,
        "unit": 10,
        "state": "on"
    },
    "origin": "receiver",
    "protocol": "archtech_old"
}
{
    "code": {
        "id": 1,
        "unit": 10,
        "state": "on"
    },
    "origin": "receiver",
    "protocol": "sartano"
}

unit is 10, K = 10? then A=0 ?

I tried to switch with pilight-send but does not work. tried it with unit 10 and unit 11

when I take a look in dmesg I see this

Code:
[  356.671417] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.671607] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.674780] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.674922] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.674999] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.675184] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.675289] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  356.675551] lirc_rpi: Buffer overrun
[  421.229663] lirc_rpi: SET_SEND_CARRIER
[  421.229701] lirc_rpi: in init_timing_params, freq=38000 pulse=3368, space=3368
[  421.232057] lirc_rpi: \x016lirc_rpi: freed IRQ 188

I loaded the module with debug enabled. is this a problem of the reciever?

Yes, unit 10 = K, unit 0 = A.

So now we have to fix the sending, because the receiving part works.

Can you try the latest code from git. If receiving works, can you then change the lsb in arctech_old to either 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 and than confirm when it still works. Possible outputs are:

1) receiving the same values for every button
2) receiving the correct values
3) receiving the inversed values

Only in case 2 or 3, the LSB works.

As soon as it works I will write filter code for it to make it more accurate by filtering false positives.
