That's good news! Will the config be the same as in pilight 2.1?

Best regards,

No, not exactly. The old config will be overwritten by the new one, and the old one will be backed up.

I've also tried to release as much tutorials as possible on the new functions. So, please let me know if something is still unclear.

Any suggestions?

For some reason a reboot was needed, now it's fine again.

Hi at all,

i switched from pilight v 2.1 to pilight v3.0. I started with clean config file and can't get rf sender and receiver working which has done it's job perfekt on pilight v 2.1. I used gpio 27 (winring pi -pin 2) for sender and gpio 9 (winring pi -pin 13) for receiver. Has anybody an idea whats wrong ?

Config from v 2.1:

Code:
{
    "port": 5000,
    "mode": "server",
    "log-level": 4,
    "pid-file": "/var/run/pilight.pid",
    "config-file": "/etc/pilight/config.json",
    "log-file": "/var/log/pilight.log",
    "send-repeats": 10,
    "receive-repeats": 1,
    "gpio-sender": 2,
    "gpio-receiver": 13,
    "hw-mode": "gpio",
    "webserver-enable": 1,
    "webserver-root": "/usr/local/share/pilight",
    "webserver-port": 5001,
    "webserver-cache": 1,
    "whitelist": "*.*.*.*",
    "update-check": 1
}

Config from v 3.0:

Code:
{
    "port": 5000,
    "standalone": 1,
    "log-level": 4,
    "pid-file": "/var/run/pilight.pid",
    "config-file": "/etc/pilight/config.json",
    "hardware-file": "/etc/pilight/hardware.json",
    "log-file": "/var/log/pilight.log",
    "send-repeats": 10,
    "receive-repeats": 1,
    "webserver-enable": 1,
    "webserver-root": "/usr/local/share/pilight",
    "webserver-port": 5001,
    "webserver-cache": 1,
    "webserver-authentication": 1,
    "webserver-username": "user",
    "webserver-password": "pass",
    "whitelist": "*.*.*.*",
    "update-check": 1,
}

hardware.json from v 3.0:

Code:
{
    "433gpio": {
        "sender": 2,
        "receiver": 13
    }
}
