[Done] Doorbell GPIO input (gpio_switch protocol)
#21
Hi,

I want to pick up this topic again.
Pimatic has already a feature to detect input on the GPIO - https://github.com/pimatic/pimatic-gpio

But it would be great to port a solution to pilight, since some (like me) might have pimatic running on different (stronger) hardware than the pi.

Is it easy to port this to pilight?

Yes, but all dependent on another open topic in regard of rewriting the config structure.

Where can I find the discription of this protocoll?
Also: is there a summary where we can find the new features and developments?

On the nightly page mostly. GPIO switch is nearly the same as a relay, but then called "gpio_switch".
